Cliche Skateboards was founded by Jeremie Daclin in the summer of 1997 in Lyon, France. Since then, Cliche has assembled one of the most diverse International teams and has released multiple critically acclaimed videos. In 2001, Cliche was acquired by Solomon and then again in 2009 by Dwindle Distribution, although Jeremie Daclin along with Al Boglio continue the brand direction and marketing. Cliche team riders have included JB Gillet, Lucas Puig, Jeremie Daclin, Andrew Brophy, Joey Brezinski, Pete Eldridge, Cale Nuske, Lem Villemin, and Pontus Alv to name a few.
