Shorty's Skateboards

Shorty's Skateboards

Shorty's Skateboards was started in 1996 after Chad Muska left Toy Machine and Tony Buyalos offered him his own brand. Muska jumped at the opportunity, and after hand picking a team of street technicians grew Shorty's into one of the largest brands of the 1990s. Shorty's popularity reached a fevered pitch after the release of it's '98 Fulfill the Dream video, but began to dwindle in the early 2000s once rail skating began to dominate the street scene. Muska eventually left Shorty's in '06 and Tony Buyalos finally pulled the plug on Shorty's Skateboards in 2011 in order to refocus on Shorty's Hardware.
