The UC Davis campus has quite a few skate spots but it's more recognized is a 7 stair set of rails that are square on top. The campus also includes the Roessler Gap which is approximately 24' in length with a 10' drop, and right next to that is a 10 stair set which has also received some coverage.

Belmar's Bowl is located in the back year of Kelly Belmar's Garden Grove residence. The pool is clamshell shaped and based off of the late Lakewood Skatepark clamshell pool. It's 10 feet deep with over 2 feet of vert and has a channel/roll-in on one wall.

The Santa Monica Memorial Greek Amphitheater is located on the Santa Monica High School campus and is home to a large gap which has been skated since the late 1980s. The gap starts at the top of the stairs, goes over a large bush and down into the orchestra pit area.

The USC ledges are located across the street from the University of Southern California on the corner of W Jefferson Blvd. and Hoover Street. There are quite a few ledges that lead from the corner down a campus walkway which made for good line skating. These ledges were a hot spot and central meeting point for L.A. skaters in the 1990s to early 2000s, but have since been rendered unskateable.

El Toro High School is home to a mammoth set of 20 stairs with rails down the middle and both sides. El Toro was first skated by Heath Kirchart in The End, and has since become a measuring stick for handrail and stair skaters alike. The middle handrail has since been removed but the stairs are still skateable for anyone with the balls to step to it.

Bancroft Middle School is home to a 9 stair rail which has been seen in plenty of ads and videos over the years. There are rails on both sides of the stairs but you can only skate one side, and with the rail being of medium height is fairly easy to do tricks over.

The Raging Waters Boomer Ramp was a horse shoe shaped ramp located at the Raging Waters water park in San Jose, CA. The ramp was a beast and must have been quite the sight to unsuspecting water park visitors. On Labor Day weekend in 1987, Raging Waters held a pro/am contest as well as high air event in which Steve Caballero blasted a world record setting 11 foot air.

The Leap of Faith is a 2 story drop which was first attempted by Jamie Thomas in 1997 for Zero's Thrill of it All video. Jamie only made one go at the drop and broke his board in the process therefore was unable to ride away. A few have attempted the drop since then but none have been successful and most have gotten severely broke off. The spot is located at Point Loma High School in San Diego, California.

Whittier High School has quite a few spots including ledges, stairs and rails but the most recognizable come in the form of 2 separate hubba type ledges. Both hubba's are 9 stairs but one is average height and narrow, while the other has a rail on top which makes it a bit taller and harder to skate.
